St. George -- SKYWEST INC. announced it has ordered 64 Canadair Regional Jets (CRJ). This brings the total number of regional jets on order with solid delivery dates for SkyWest Airlines to 114. When deliveries are complete in 2004, SkyWest will operate 46 CRJs in partnership with Delta Air Lines and 84 CRJs with United Airlines, for a total of 130 Canadair Regional Jets. SkyWest also has options to purchase an additional 119 CRJs with delivery dates beyond 2004. Today, SkyWest operates 107 aircraft, including 16 CRJs and 91 Embraer Brasilias.
