SKYWEST AIRLINES CONTINUES STRONG GROWTH IN OCTOBER
ST. GEORGE, Utah, Nov. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- SkyWest Delta

Connection reported continued strong results in October. The airline reported its 15th consecutive month of traffic growth, with total enplanements for the period up 16.6 percent from the prior year to 134,375.
Revenue passenger mile (RPM) growth again outpaced available seat mile (ASM) growth. While ASMs increased 14.3 percent to 58.7 million, RPMs increased 18.0 percent to 25.8 million -- resulting in a load factor of 44 percent, up 1.4 percentage points from October 1991.
"October's load factor clearly demonstrates that traffic can be bought," said SkyWest (NASDAQ: SKYW) Senior Vice President Customer Services Ron Reber. "We've been able to stimulate traffic by investing in cabin-class equipment, creative pricing programs and a concerted effort to improve customer service. Our traffic and financial results reflect this investment."
SkyWest Airlines operates as a Delta Connection carrier under a marketing agreement with Delta Airlines. The regional airline serves 42 cities in the western United States. Operating 19 EMB-120 Brasilias and 31 Fairchild Metroliners, the airline completes more than 510 flights daily.
