SKYWAY AIRLINES ANNOUNCES SERVICE BETWEEN MILWAUKEE AND OMAHA,
 CEDAR RAPIDS
MILWAUKEE, Aug. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Skyway Airlines, the regional airline partner of Milwaukee-based Midwest Express Airlines, today announced it will add service between Milwaukee and Omaha, Neb., and Cedar Rapids, Iowa, beginning Sept. 14, 1992.
According to Rolly Bergeson, president of Skyway Airlines, the new service will consist of two nonstop flights each business day between Milwaukee and Cedar Rapids, and two direct flights each business day between Milwaukee and Omaha.
"Cedar Rapids and Omaha are markets with a lack of nonstop and direct service from Milwaukee," Bergeson said. "Our new Skyway flights will provide convenient, comfortable service for the business traveler who otherwise would have to connect at a major hub airport."
In addition to the new service, Skyway will also add one daily nonstop flight between Milwaukee and Grand Rapids, Mich., bringing the total number of Midwest Express and Skyway weekday roundtrips in the market to eight.
Skyway Airlines is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mesa Airlines (NASDAQ: MESA), a large regional carrier based in Farmington, N.M.
