SKYWAY AIRLINES ADDS SERVICE BETWEEN NASHVILLE AND MILWAUKEE; DAYTON, OHIO; GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGAN

MILWAUKEE, March 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Midwest Express Airlines, Inc. (NYSE: MEH) today announced that its regional subsidiary, which operates as Skyway Airlines, will begin service to Nashville, Tennessee.

Skyway Airlines, "The Midwest Express Connection" will begin serving Nashville May 1 with two nonstop roundtrip flights between Nashville and Milwaukee each weekday. There are currently no carriers providing nonstop service between the two cities.

Skyway will also offer three direct flights each weekday from Nashville to Grand Rapids, Michigan, and two from Grand Rapids to Nashville. It will offer two nonstop roundtrips each weekday between Nashville and Dayton. Currently, there is no direct service between Nashville and Grand Rapids, and no nonstop service between Nashville and Dayton.

Additionally, Skyway will offer three nonstop roundtrip flights between Dayton and Grand Rapids each weekday.

Adding service to Nashville follows the company's pattern of entering markets that are underserved, explained Timothy Hoeksema, chairman and chief executive officer. "Nashville is a strong business market. Offering passengers nonstop service from Milwaukee and Dayton, and direct service from Grand Rapids, is a good opportunity for us to fill a void in the market."
