SKYBOX INTERNATIONAL ELECTS THREE NEW DIRECTORS

 DURHAM, N.C., Nov. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- SkyBox International Inc. (NASDAQ-NMS: SKYB), a producer, marketer and distributor of collectible sports and entertainment trading cards, today announced the election of three new directors to its board. The three new directors are Tommie E. Smith, Howard M. Lorber and Mark E. Bloom.
 Tommie E. Smith, 53, has been Senior Vice President - Finance and Administration of SkyBox since July 1990, and has been Treasurer since December 1989. Prior to that, he was Vice President and Controller of Liggett Group Inc.
 Howard M. Lorber, 45, is President of Hallman & Lorber Associates, which provides consulting and actuarial services to pension and profit sharing plans. He is also the Chairman and CEO of Nathan's Famous, Inc. and serves on the board of several other companies, including VTX Electronics Corp., of which he is Chairman; Aegis Resources, Inc. of which he is Chairman; New Valley Corporation; United Capital Corp.; and Alpine Lace Brands, Inc.
 Mr. Lorber also is a Trustee of Long Island University and holds a number of advisory positions with community service and other organizations.
 Mark E. Bloom, CPA, 42, is a Managing Director at Walsh, Greenwood & Co., which founded WG Trading Company L.P., an arbitrage hedged fund, and WG Partners L.P., which controls Signal Apparel Inc., the New York Islanders, and has interests in other public and privately held companies. Prior to that, he worked at BDO Seidman, where he was a Managing Partner.
 Mr. Bloom is a member of several professional associations and serves in advisory capacities on numerous community organizations including the Long Island Alzheimer's Foundation and the Long Island City Business Development Council.
 These elections bring the total number of SkyBox board members to five. SkyBox was spun off as a public company on October 6, 1993, and began trading on Nasdaq's National Market System under the symbol "SKYB" on Nov. 10.
 SkyBox International Inc. produces sports and entertainment trading cards, especially in the growing segments of basketball and football, with licenses for such entertainment properties as DC Comics, Star Trek and various Disney films and characters.
