The Swedish rolling bearings and seals manufacturing group SKF said on Tuesday (4 July) that it has completed its previously announced acquisition of French aerospace bearings and machine tool applications maker SNFA SAS.

SNFA has 720 employees at manufacturing operations in France, Italy and the United Kingdom, and reported sales of EUR82m in 2005.

SNFA will be included in SKF's Aerospace and High Precision Bearings business unit.

The purchase price was EUR138.5m in cash.

One euro (EUR) is worth approximately 0.69 British pounds (GBP).
