SIX INDUCTED INTO MICHIGAN BOATING INDUSTRIES ASSOCIATION 'HALL OF FAME'
 NORTHVILLE, Mich., Dec. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Six individuals who have been determined to be outstanding contributors to the recreational boating industry in Michigan were inducted into the Michigan Boating Industries Association (MBIA) Hall of Fame during the annual Recreational Boating Conference held Dec. 4-6 in Bellaire, Mich.
 The first to be inducted into this newly developed "Hall of Fame" were: Marvin B. Kean, Kean's Detroit Yacht Harbor in Detroit; Bill McMachen, McMachen Sea Ray in Mount Clemens; Kenneth W. Parks, Great Lakes Boat Top in Plymouth; Ray L. Underwood, MBIA in Northville; Larry Vater, Decks and Docks in Pontiac; and Ken Wilson, Wilson Marine in Brighton.
 The MBIA Hall of Fame was designed in 1991 to recognize those who have made extraordinary achievements in the recreational boating industry. The award recognizes an individual, group, or organization who, over the years, has proved to be outstanding in furthering the MBIA's objectives of advancing the recreational boating industry through the promotion of education, the dissemination of knowledge, the introduction or development of innovative techniques, and the commitment to quality service and growth. The honor is given to those who have been dedicated to the perpetuation of the highest ideals, trust and professionalism for the industry.
