 SILICON GRAPHICS NAMES NEW BRANCH SALES MANAGER FOR DALLAS REGION
 MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., April 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Silicon Graphics Inc. (NYSE: SGI) today announced that it has named Harry Eaddy as branch sales manager for Silicon Graphics' Dallas region. Eaddy will manage a staff of 12 and will be responsible for developing sales growth in the Dallas region which includes Dallas, Fort Worth, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana. His charter is to develop new accounts and diversify the application areas into which Silicon Graphics sells its systems.
 "Harry is the ideal person to oversee new growth in the Dallas area," said John Curtiss, south central regional manager for Silicon Graphics. "In the time Harry has been with the Dallas Branch, he has taken several relationships and grown them into million dollar key accounts. We feel confident that Harry will continue that momentum, significantly growing our business in the Dallas region."
 Eaddy joined Silicon Graphics in October of 1988 with nine years of sales experience in the computer industry. Prior to joining Silicon Graphics, Eaddy was a senior sales representative for Apollo Computer Inc. where he managed the company's key Fortune 500 accounts in central Texas. Before joining Apollo Computer, Eaddy was a sales representative for Control Data Corp.
 Eaddy holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Anderson University in Anderson, Ill. and a master's in business administration from North Texas State University in Denton, Texas.
