SIGNATORIES TO MCV SETTLEMENT WILL ABIDE BY MPSC'S ORDER

 DEARBORN, Mich., April 21 /PRNewswire/ -- CMS Energy Corporation (NYSE: CMS) said today that the Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) has been notified by all the signatories to a settlement of Midland Cogeneration Venture (MCV) matters that those parties will abide by a modified settlement approved by the MPSC in its Order issued March 31, 1993. The MCV Limited Partnership continues to have no objection to the modified settlement.
 Under the Order, the parties supporting the settlement had 20 days to notify the MPSC of any objections to the modifications to the settlement approved by the MPSC. All signatories have now notified the MPSC of their acceptance of the Order.
 The signatories are the MPSC Staff, Consumers Power Company, and 10 cogenerators and small power producers.
