SIG SAUER announces new positions.

Andy York is now VP of marketing and commercial sales of SIG SAUER and will also lead expansion into new facets of the shooting and hunting product category.


York previously served as senior VP of global sales and marketing for Blount International, and was a longtime executive at Leupold.

"The addition of Andy's expertise and guidance are critical at this point in our long-term strategic plan for growth into new markets," said Ron Cohen, SIG SAUER CEO and president.

Kevin Brittingham has been named the new lead of the SIG-SD Silencer business unit at SIG SAUER, and will also serve as the manager of special programs within its Military/Law Enforcement development activities.

Brittingham, the founder of Advanced Armament Corp., currently holds more than 40 patents in the firearms industry, and is also a founding member of the American Silencer Association.

Lindsay Bunch has been hired as product manager, special weapons development group. Bunch joins SIG SAUER after serving more than two decades in the United States Army.
