SIERRA ANNOUNCES CARTRIDGE REPRESENTATION AGREEMENT

 SIERRA ANNOUNCES CARTRIDGE REPRESENTATION AGREEMENT
 COARSEGOLD, Calif., Nov. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Sierra On-Line

(NASDAQ: SIER) announced today that it has entered into an agreement with International Computer Group Inc. (ICG), of New Brunswick, Canada, intended to bring Sierra's leading products to cartridge and handheld entertainment systems.
The agreement allows ICG to evaluate and represent the entire Sierra product line for potential opportunities outside the home computer market. "Sierra has long avoided manufacturing video game cartridges. In the past we have refused to license our products to video game publishers fearing consumer confusion. However, last year we licensed Konami the right to publish "King's Quest V" for the Nintendo Entertainment System and have been pleased with the results. We now believe it is in Sierra's best interests to allow non-computer owners a way to experience our products and that ICG is the right firm to exploit this opportunity," said Ken Williams, president and chief executive officer of Sierra.
"This is a wonderful opportunity for ICG to build the bridge between Sierra and other formats. Sierra will bring a lot to the cartridge and handheld market with its well established titles," said Barry Friedman, ICG's president.
With 12 years of experience, International Computer Group Inc. is the oldest computer software licensing representation group specializing in the home entertainment field. Its clients have included Accolade, Konami and Electronic Arts.
Sierra On-Line, located in Oakhurst, Calif., develops and publishes entertainment and education products for home computers. It is one of the oldest and largest developers of home computer applications.
