SIBLINGS Cynan, 12, Angharad, 10, and Edryd, 7, debated who would sit in the Llywydd chair in the Senedd as the Welsh Assembly threw the doors open to the general public as part of their 20th anniversary celebrations.

The Siambr, where debates are chaired by the Llywydd, currently Ceredigion AM Elin Jones, is open for all to see where the Welsh Government makes key decisions.

The trio from Llandderfel near Bala were in Cardiff for the start of the Urdd National Eisteddfod. Angharad will be taking part in the Eisteddfod's cooking competition later this week.

The Senedd is also hosting the art, craft and technology exhibition. More than 400 pieces of work is on display by youngsters from all over Wales.

Each was adjudged to be the best in their district and were later brought to Cardiff where the final judging took place.
