 SHRM TO HOLD ANNUAL CONFERENCE AND EXPOSITION JUNE 28-JULY 1
 More than 5,000 human resource professionals will converge in Las Vegas June 28-July 1 for "Winning Strategies in Human Resource Management," the 1992 annual conference and exposition of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
 The SHRM conference is a must for any member of the media covering workplace/work force issues and trends. More than 160 educational sessions ranging from broad general interest tracks to managing diversity and innovations in health care will be featured at the conference. A sampling of sessions:
 -- "Redefining the 'Fast Track' During the Economic Downturn of the 1990s."
 -- "Essential Job Functions and the Americans with Disabilities Act."
 -- "Immigration Act of 1990: Opportunities and Challenges."
 -- "Toyota in Kentucky: American Work Force, World Class Quality."
 Keynote speakers include: Arthur R. Miller, Harvard Law professor and "Good Morning America" law commentator who, during a special session, will address privacy in the workplace; Edward E. Lawler III, management professor at the University of Southern California and author of "High Involvement Management" and "Strategic Play"; Nancy Austin, noted speaker, consultant and best-selling author and one of the most sought-after authorities on business today; and Geri Jewell, actress, comedian and motivational speaker famous for her ability to bridge the worlds of humor and attitudinal change.
 In addition, several important studies, including two major surveys on work and family, and benefits, services and programs provided to expatriate managers, will be released at the conference.
 The 1992 SHRM Conference also features the world's largest exposition dedicated exclusively to the human resource profession featuring the latest innovative HR products and services and experts from more than 500 companies and organizations worldwide.
