ELECTRONIC HOUSE EXPO concluded the most highly attended show in its six-year history last month at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla., the Consumer Electronics Association claimed. EHX Spring 2005 attracted more than 7,900 attendees, a 12 percent jump over last year. The show is produced by EH Publishing & Events and sponsored by the CEA's TechHome Division. THE CONSUMER ELECTRONICS ASSOCIATION this month projected that 3 million Digital Cable Ready sets will be sold factory-to-dealer in 2005, building on the installed base of more than 1 million sold last year. "The DTV transition is booming with more than 16 million DTV units sold since introduction," said Gary Shapiro, CEA president and chief executive officer.
