SHIRAZ: SKY'S THE UPPER LIMIT.
Byline: Shiraz LalaniIF there's a criticism of the brilliant Sky+ digital recording system, it's the 40GB hard drive, which holds 20 hours of television. Sounds a lot, but football and films can soon fill the memory.
So this year the firm brought out the Sky+ 160, which packs in a 160GB hard disk, enough for 80 hours of programmes.
And don't rule out more improvements putting Sky+ among the top gadgets of 2005. There are plans to add a portable video screen so you can watch programmes on the move. And there could be a new SMS service which will let you schedule a recording simply by texting the details to your Sky+ box.
