SHELL SERVICE STATION DEALERS PLANNING PENNY-A-GALLON FUNDRAISER FOR TOYS FOR TOTS DEC. 10-12; "EVERY CHILD DESERVES A LITTLE CHRISTMAS"
DAYTON, Ohio, Dec. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Participating Shell service station dealers in Ohio will donate one cent per gallon for every gallon of gasoline they sell during the December 10-12 weekend to the Marine Reserves Corps Toys for Tots program. The primary focus of the Toys for Tots program is to collect new, unused toys to distribute to needy children during the holiday season. Shell dealers expect to raise approximately $25,000-$30,000 for the Toys for Tots program during this weekend's fundraiser. Over 250 Shell service stations will be participating in Ohio. Shell will donate the proceeds of this weekend's fundraiser during a presentation to Brigadier General Larry Garrett from the U.S. Marine Corps on Wednesday, December 15, 11:30 a.m. at T.W.'s Restaurant, 67 S. Main Street in Miamisburg, Ohio.
