SHC seeks account details of market committee.

HYDERABAD -- The Sindh High Court Hyderabad Circuit Bench here Thursday ordered the Market Committee Shahdadpur to provide the details of its bank accounts to the petitioner.

According to the details, the petitioner Ghulam Mustafa Memon pleaded in the court that he and other staff members had not been paid pension and retirement funds after their retirement.During the hearing Director General Sindh Agriculture Extension and Administrator Market Committee Shahdapur Shahzad Panhwar offered a cheque of Rs.200,000 to the petitioner.

They further offered that the petitioner would be paid a sum of Rs.100,000 after every 3 months to clear his dues while citing poor financial health of the department.The petitioner, meanwhile, refused to accept the offered amount arguing that the department had sufficient funds to clear his and other staff's dues.The SHC ordered the respondents including the DG and the Administrator to provide access to the bank accounts of the committee to Memon and submit the same details in the court at the next date of hearing on March 1.
