SHADOW TRAFFIC LAUNCHES INNOVATIVE BROADCAST SERVICE
BALA CYNWYD, Pa., March 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Shadow Traffic Network

today announced the formation of Shadow Broadcast Services.
Shadow Broadcast Services will offer customized sports, weather and news programming on the same basis as its highly successful traffic service. This will give local stations the opportunity to offer total information to their listeners in a top-quality yet cost-effective manner.
Sports and weather reports are initially being launched in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston and Philadelphia. Planning is under way for expansion into additional markets nationwide and for the kickoff of the news product.
"Stations that can now receive the most accurate, technologically advanced traffic reports will also be able to offer their listeners a complete local information service while achieving considerable savings in operating costs," said Shadow Traffic Chief Executive Officer Michael D'Ambrose.
"As a highly experienced news gathering agency, this expansion into hard news, weather and sports is a natural progression. Shadow Broadcasting Services will offer these reports tailored to fit the format and personality of the individual station, while freeing the station from the escalating costs of gathering, analyzing and broadcasting the information," according to D'Ambrose.
The Philadelphia operation will be known as Express Broadcast Services. Additional services in Philadelphia will be Express Weather, Express Sports and Express News. Express Traffic will continue to operate in Philadelphia. In all other markets, Shadow Traffic, Shadow Weather, Shadow Sports and Shadow News will operate under Shadow Broadcast Services. Shadow Traffic is not affiliated with Shadow Traffic Network operating in Philadelphia.
The Shadow Broadcast Services partnership with local stations will enable broadcast outlets nationwide to offer listeners high-quality, full-service, 'round-the-clock information specifically tailored to their individual formats.
