SEPTA SCHEDULES FOR THANKSGIVING; TWO KIDS UNDER 12 RIDE FREE WITH EACH FARE-PAYER THROUGH LONG WEEKEND

 PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 23 ~PRNewswire~ -- On Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 26, all SEPTA services will be on Sunday schedules, but there will be extra Thanksgiving Parade service on the Broad Street and Market-Frankford Lines plus extra cars on many regional rail trains, SEPTA said today.
 For the convenience of Thanksgiving Parade goers, Broad Street and Market-Frankford Line trains will run every five to 10 minutes from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
 During the parade, a total of 16 SEPTA bus routes will be detoured, including Routes C, 2, 7, 12, 17, 27, 31, 32, 33, 38, 43, 44, 48, 76, 124 and 125.
 One of the most convenient routes for regional rail riders will be the Route R1 Airport Line which operates every half hour between Glenside and Center City Philadelphia on the Sunday schedules.
 FRIDAY: REGIONAL RAIL SERVICES ON SATURDAY SCHEDULES
 On Friday, Nov. 27, SEPTA emphasized that the Regional Rail Division will be on Saturday schedules but with extra cars added on many trains to increase capacity throughout the day.
 For the convenience of Route R3 West Trenton riders, SEPTA will add a morning inbound (to Philadelphia) and afternoon outbound train. In the morning, the extra train will leave West Trenton at 7:17 a.m. and arrive in Suburban Station at 8:15 a.m. In the afternoon, an extra train will leave 30th Street Station at 5:15 p.m. and arrive at West Trenton at 6:15 p.m.
 All SEPTA City and Suburban Transit Division services will be on normal weekday schedules.
 SPECIAL FARE FOR FAMILIES
 Just in time for holiday shopping, a special SEPTA fare will be in place for the third year in a row that will allow children under 12 to ride free with each fare-payer from 9 a.m. Friday through midnight Sunday. The fare policy will be in affect for all SEPTA transit and regional rail services.
