SEPTA OPERATING BUSES ON A PORTION OF TROLLEY ROUTE 13
PHILADELPHIA, Sept. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- SEPTA is operating buses on a

portion of City Transit Division subway surface trolley Route 13 due to street construction and SEPTA track renewal in Yeadon, Pa., SEPTA said today.
The buses are replacing trolleys between the Mount Moriah Loop (Kingsessing and Cemetary avenues) and 9th & Main streets in Darby, Pa. SEPTA said that riders transferring from trolleys to buses will find an average seven minute wait on weekdays and a longer wait on weekends.
During the construction, which will continue until January, SEPTA will install 900 feet of new trolley track.
Currently, the buses are operating on the regular trolley route. As the work progresses the buses will be detoured and SEPTA will post detour information at all affected Route 13 transit stops.
