 SENATE DECIDES FATE OF SUPER COLLIDER THURSDAY;
 LAB DIRECTOR ROY SCHWITTERS HOLDS BREAKFAST BRIEFING
 Dr. Roy Schwitters, director of the Superconducting Super Collider (SSC) Lab will hold a press briefing on the status of efforts to continue FY93 funding for the world's largest research project. The briefing will take place from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the National Press Club, in the Zenger Room.
 The Superconducting Super Collider -- which will ensure U.S. economic, scientific and educational leadership for years to come -- is in danger of losing its funding. The House recently voted to kill FY93 funding for the Super Collider, jeopardizing jobs and related scientific and educational projects nationwide.
 The fate of the SSC will be determined on Thursday, July 30, when the issue is expected to go to the Senate floor for a vote.
