PUBLIC OFFERING TO THE AMERICAN STOCK EXCHANGE
NEW YORK, Dec. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Stock Exchange today announced that Semiconductor Packaging Materials Co., Inc. of Mamaroneck, N.Y., began trading 1,135,000 shares of common stock in an initial public offering. Trading under ticker symbol SEM, the stock opened on 38,700 shares at 5.
Semiconductor Packaging designs, develops, manufactures and markets customized fine wire and metal ribbons, as well as precision metal stampings, used in the manufacture of electronic components. The products are used for industrial and commercial applications, primarily to conduct electrical currents or signals or to solder or connect electronic circuitry.
