 SECURITY TAG SYSTEMS REPORTS LAWSUIT
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., Oct. 29 /PRNewswire/ --Security Tag Systems,

Inc. (NASDAQ: STAG) today reported that an action has been filed in the Delaware Court of Chancery against the company, its board of directors and Sensormatic Electronics Corporation, Inc. (NYSE: SRM), challenging the proposed merger of the company with Sensormatic. The suit alleges, among other things, an inadequacy in the proposed merger considerations of $3.25 in Senormatic common stock for each share of the company's common stock, and a breach of fiduciary duty by the board of directors of the company.
Carter W. Clarke, Jr., president of the company, stated that the company believes the suit to be without merit.
