SECOND SIZE FOR BRAKE.

Carlisle Motion Control Industries has added a second size range to its FCL (Full Circle Lift Truck) brake line. The FCL brake is a dry disc brake system available with or without parking brake capabilities and either single- or dual- rotor friction surfaces.

The FCL brake is available for fork truck applications up to 12,000 lb. It is hydraulically actuated for service braking and can also serve as a mechanical parking brake. Maximum hydraulic pressure for service braking is 1000 psi for single rotor and dual rotor configurations with maximum lever force for parking brake actuation 800 lb. Brake torque for service braking is 70,000 in.lb. for a single-rotor and 120,000 in.lb. for a dual-rotor brake. The single-rotor brake generates 35,000 in.lb. of park brake torque while the dual rotor version generated 70,000 in.lb.
