 SECOND POST-LOCKOUT 'LER' OCCURS AT FERMI II,
 SAYS LOCAL 223, UTILITY WORKERS UNION OF AMERICA
 NEWPORT, Mich., June 11 /PRNewswire/ -- The following was released today by Local 223, Utility Workers Union of America:
 At 6 a.m., while personnel were removing the (Fermi II) reactor building closed cooling water heat exchanger from service, pressure in the system dropped. The Detroit Edison Company was forced to report a licensee event report (LER) to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). The company is unsure whether it was an equipment malfunction or an operator error.
