SECOND COMING OF SUPER STRIKE EAGLE DUE FOR JUNE DELIVERY

 HUNT VALLEY, Md., April 28 /PRNewswire/ -- MicroProse Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: MPRS) today announced that after shipping its first 16-bit Super NES(R) video game Super Strike Eagle just last month, the company has reordered the product from Nintendo(R) after selling out its entire first order and expects delivery this June. Super Strike Eagle launched to good reviews and achieved significant retail sell-through according to MicroProse retailers. MicroProse has also received approval for the sale of Super Strike Eagle in Europe and expects to ship it in the near term. In addition, the company has ordered a Gameboy(R) hand-held video game version of F-15 Strike Eagle(R) for shipment during this first quarter of FY94 in both the United States and Europe.
 MicroProse has submitted another product, F-15 Strike Eagle(R) II, for approval from Sega(TM) for the 16-bit Sega Genesis(TM) video game platform. F-15 Strike Eagle II is the first, "true three dimensional combat flying game" for the Sega Genesis and utilizes the 3-D system built for the highly successful Commodore(R) Amiga product of the same name. Sega of Europe has approved the product and sent it to Sega of Japan for approval. The company expects to ship that product later this year. MicroProse also expects to submit to Sega for approval Pirates(R) Gold for the Sega Genesis. Pirates Gold is based on the award winning PC game.
 MicroProse is currently developing additional titles for the Super NES 16-bit video game including Airborne Ranger(R), derived from a very successful PC product and Solo Flight(R), the first realistic flight simulation for the Super NES. The company has additional Sega Genesis titles in development including Ancient Art of War in the Skies(TM).
 MicroProse expects to be able to ship three Super NES and three Sega Genesis products during FY94 with most being shipped in both the United States and Europe. Super Strike Eagle has been licensed to Asmik, Inc. of Japan for shipment in Japan.
 For the PC marketplace, the company also expects to ship four new products in the first fiscal quarter. These products include Pirates Gold, a new version of the award winning classic, and two CD-ROM games, including an enhanced version of the MicroProse best seller, F-15 Strike Eagle III.
 MicroProse Software, Inc. designs and markets a full line of entertainment software for personal computers and video game systems. Its products are available nationally and internationally through major distributors, retailers, and mass merchants.
