 SECOM GENERAL ANNOUNCES NEW EQUIPMENT ORDERS
 NOVI, Mich., Dec. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Secom General Corporation


(NASDAQ: SECM) announced today that it has entered into an agreement to purchase a $2.1 million cold forming machine, called the Formax FXC85, from National Machinery Company in Tiffin, Ohio. Delivery is expected in approximately 12 months.
 "This highly efficient machine will add a new dimension of production capability to our current and future customers," said Secom's CEO Roy McKnight. He further said, "The capacity of the machine in sales dollars could exceed $4 million and help Uniflow compete on a world market basis."
 "This machine, along with the other efficiency improvements we are continually working on, will significantly improve Secom General's profitability," McKnight said.
 Secom operates six subsidiaries in metal parts forming, tool manufacturing and plastic molded products.
