SEARCH FOR TOP LAMB RECIPE.

Byline: PAUL GALLAGHER

THE hunt is on for the most succulent lamb dish of the year.

The Daily Mirror has teamed up with the Livestock and Meat Commission in a bid to find the perfect lamb recipe - and turn a reader into a TV star.

If your dish beats the competition you will be treated to a luxury VIP night out courtesy of the Daily Mirror.

Treats will include limo travel with champagne throughout the night.

A celebrity chef will also cook the winning recipe for the winner at their restaurant. Then it's back in the limo to the VIP suite at Precious nightclub at the Odyssey complex to rub shoulders with the rich and famous.

Once you've partied the night away, chill out in a suite at one of Northern Ireland's top hotels. LMC marketing manager Phelim O'Neill said: "For the first time ever in Northern Ireland, we're giving the public the opportunity to star in their own TV commercial, cooking up their surprising lamb recipes."

Entrants should send their favourite lamb recipe along with a current photograph and explain in no fewer than 30 words what is so surprising about it.

Entries can be posted to the Livestock and Meat Commission For NI, Lissue House, 31 Ballinderry Road, Lisburn, BT28 2SL, or send an email to lambdish@lmcni.com. The closing date is Friday, July 18. For entry form and more details see Page 11.
