Maj. Gen. Charles W. Fletcher, SDDC commander, congratulates SK1 Jaime Reyes, SDDC Naval Reserve Unit 320, upon receiving the Army Commendation Medal. Reyes received his award during the Reception, Staging, Onward Movement, and Integration exercise held in Korea. The 25th Infantry Division's first Stryker armored vehicle made its way to Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, Feb. 6, after being offloaded from a Matson vessel in Honolulu Harbor Feb. 5. Members of the 599th Transportation Group, as well as industry partners from Matson, were on hand to ensure the safe offload of the 19-ton eight-wheeled vehicle. The 25th ID's 2nd Brigade Combat Team will be among the first Stryker units to receive a version of the vehicle equipped with a 105 mm cannon.--Photo by Spc.
