SDC protests for Daharki's development.

DAHARKI -- The leaders and members of the Save Daharki Committee (SDC) took out a protest demonstration for the provision of basic facilities to the people of Daharki on Friday. The rally was led by the Divisional President of the SUP Hatan Khan Shar, Pir Mian Shafiq Ahmed and others, who marched through different parts of the city. Addressing on the occasion, the speakers expressed concern over the lack of facilities at hospitals and schools in Daharki despite the issuance of millions of rupees. The protesters further said that the federal government for the first time in history issued Rs 3 billion for Ghotki district but the amount was given to the Sindh Government due to which no work has been carried out in Daharki. On the occasion, the protesters demanded of the Sindh Government to provide basic facilities to the people of Daharki by resolving their longstanding problems, otherwise they have threatened to widen their protest circle.
