SCT SIGNS $11 MILLION ONSITE SERVICES CONTRACT WITH MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZ.

MALVERN, Pa., Sept. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Systems & Computer Technology Corporation (SCT) (NASDAQ: SCTC) announced today that it has signed Mohave County, Ariz., to an $11 million, seven-year contract for OnSite services, a computing management offering.
The rapidly growing Mohave County is the nation's fifth-largest in land mass, serving a population of 120,000 in Kingman (county seat), Bullhead City, and Lake Havasu City, Ariz., and the surrounding region. Via the agreement, SCT will replace the County's administrative computing systems and assist in its migration from mainframe computing to an open systems environment.
"With Mohave County's needs expanding, our administration is particularly concerned with streamlining such areas as parcel assessment, tax collection, and building permits," said Sam Standerfer, chairman of the County Board of Supervisors. "Yet our current operating environment was becoming unwieldy and costly to maintain."
"We are confident that our partnership with SCT -- and the resulting technology transfer -- will improve the integration and functionality of our information systems. Better information will enhance our decision- making capabilities and, most importantly, allow us to serve our populace effectively," Standerfer noted.
"SCT is very excited about its new partnership with growth-oriented Mohave County," noted Michael J. Emmi, the company's chairman and chief executive officer. "As we celebrate our first quarter-century in business, SCT continues to attract strong, forward-thinking clients within the local government market."
SCT is a leading provider of facilities management services and administrative applications software in the U.S. higher education and local government markets, and has recently introduced a new product for the utility market.
