SCRIPT SYSTEMS EXPECTS TO REPORT LOSS FROM OPERATIONS
HACKENSACK, N.J., May 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Script Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCPT) Barrett C. O'Donnell, chairman and CEO, announced today that the company expects to report a loss from operations in the fiscal third quarter of between $1.75 and $2.0 million.
This operational loss resulted from slower than expected sales, delays in shipping, changes in internal procedures and includes charges of between $1.0 million and $1.25 million. These charges, which are substantially non-recurring, resulted from management's revision of certain accounting transactions and procedures in conjunction with its+ auditors, Feldman Sablosky & Company and with the assistance of Ernst & Young acting as outside consultants.
