SCRIPT SYSTEMS, INC REPORTS SIX MONTHS RESULTS

 HACKENSACK, N.J., Feb. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Barrett C. O'Donnell, chairman of the board of Script Systems, Inc., (NASDAQ: SCPT) reported a net loss of $.5 million or $.33 per share for the six months ended Dec. 31, 1992 on revenues of $3.4 million. For the second quarter ended Dec. 31, 1992, the company reported a net loss of $.4 million or $.30 per share on revenues of $1.6 million. The loss for these periods reflects additional staffing in sales, marketing and administration and a management fee for InfoMed, Inc., for consulting services provided.
 Script Systems, Inc. is a publicly-held company that is a leading provider of Information Management Systems for physicians' offices, clinics and pharmacies. Script develops, sells and supports data processing systems for single and multi-physician practices and clinics.
 On Jan. 19, 1993, Script filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for a proposed business combination with InfoMed, the nation's leading provider of Information Management Systems to the home health care industry. Under this proposal, each share of the 1,402,424 shares of Script common stock now outstanding would be exchanged for 0.4 shares of the common stock of InfoMed Holdings, Inc. (IHI). IHI is a newly-formed Delaware corporation which will become a holding company for InfoMed and Script following the successful exchange offers. All 67,500 shares of Script preferred stock would be exchanged for 139,737 of IHI common stock.
 In addition, IHI proposes to exchange 2.72 shares of its common stock for each of the 379,626 shares of InfoMed common stock outstanding, an aggregate of 370,784 shares of its common stock for all 10,000 shares of InfoMed, Inc. Series A preferred stock and 3.2 shares of IHI common stock for each 43,007 shares of InfoMed, Inc. Series B preferred stock. Options and warrants to acquire shares of Script common stock and InfoMed common stock would be changed into rights to acquire IHI common stock on the same ratios as described above.
