 AT ARRHYTHMIA PATIENTS' HOLIDAY REUNION, DEC. 6
 WHAT: More than 400,000 individuals die from sudden cardiac
 arrest annually in the United States; 5,000 in San
 Diego alone.
 A physician who survived "sudden cardiac death" and
 became only the second woman to give birth with an
 implanted heart rhythm device (AICD) will speak to
 Scripps Memorial Hospitals arrhythmia patients at a
 special holiday reunion this week.
