SCRIBNERS MARRIED TO A LIFE OF SERVICE.

Dr. Robert and Margaret Scribner of Camarillo celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with their four children - John Scribner of Hesperia; the Rev. Robert Scribner Jr. of Santa Monica; Dr. Richard Scribner of New Orleans; and Lori Hall of Prescott, Ariz. - together with their children's spouses and the couple's 19 grandchildren. They gathered at the Sky Mountain Resort at Stallion Springs in Tehachapi for a special week of togetherness and celebration that included the renewal of the couple's wedding vows.

Robert, known as ``Dr. Bob,'' was a physician in the San Fernando Valley for more than 30 years and served as attending physician for the Certain Sounds singing group at the Van Nuys First Baptist Church.

Margaret, who helped in her husband's medical office, served as a nurse during World War II.

The Scribners traveled together with the touring group from Van Nuys First Baptist Church and have wonderful memories of those times.
