SCOTTISH SOCCER ROUND-UP.

Clydebank beat ST MIRREN 2-1 with Jim Grady giving the Bankies the lead. Gary Teale added a second before Barry Laverty pulled one back.

HAMILTON beat DUMBARTON 2-1 as both sides prepare for second division football next season. The Sons took an early lead when Alan Grainger scored from the penalty spot. The Accies levelled through Paul Hartley before Michael Geraghty hit the winner.

ST JOHNSTONE and DUNDEE fought out a goalless draw.

In the second division FORFAR failed to escape relegation despite beating STENHOUSEMUIR 2-0. The Sky Blues needed to win and for MONTROSE to beat STRANRAER. With goals from Michael Higgins and Robert Mann Forfar they did their best but Stranraer held on to David Kerrigan's strike to ensure their safety.
