SCOTS star Catriona Matthew [...].
The North Berwick 42-year-old notched up six birdies in her first 10 holes, with just one bogey at the 18th, for a 13-under total that left her three shots behind Japan's Momoko Ueda.
After a 69, Ueda was tied with China's Shanshan Feng, who shot a last-day 65, and the local favourite claimed the title with a 15-foot birdie putt at the third extra hole of a sudden death play-off.
Matthew is now lying at No.22 on the LPGA money list with more than pounds 300,000.
Sally Watson has continued her bid to regain a place in the GB&I squad for next June's Curtis Cup at Nairn by finishing seventh in the Rainbow Wahine Invitational women's college tournament at Kapolei on Hawaii.
Scot Greg Richards finished joint 10th at the Wildcat Invitational at Miami Shores.
