Dr. Cathy Dyches, Assistant Professor, Clemson University Department of Nursing, has been named the recipient of the Ruth A. Nicholson Research Award. Dr. Dyches' project entitiled "Educating for Rural Health Practice" is a study that involves Clemson University and eight rural hospitals in the surrounding counties. The purpose of the research is to discover the resources and needs of rural hospitals to encourage the use of these facilities for the school's BSN students' clinical experiences.
