SCIMED ELECTS NEW DIRECTOR MINNEAPOLIS, July 16 /PRNewswire/ -- SCIMED Life Systems, Inc.
(NASDAQ-NMS: SMLS) announced today that Richard C. Alberding has been elected to its board of directors. Alberding recently elected to take early retirement as executive vice president and officer of Hewlett- Packard. During his distinguished 33-year career at Hewlett-Packard, Alberding was responsible for numerous worldwide operations including general manager of the Medical Products Group.
