SCHOOLS RENOVATION, REFURBISHMENT.

Barbados has secured a loan from the Inter-American Development Bank (No. 1154/OC-BA IDB) toward the cost of Edu-Tech 2000. Bids now invited for renovation and refurbishment of three schools. Pre-tender estimates for the schools are: Lot 1. Bay Primary: Bds$2,582,503.36; Lot 2. Saint Lucy Primary: Bds$2,224,706.05; Lot 3. West Terrace Primary: Bds$2,306,245.19. A pre-tender meeting will be held Jan. 8 2003, at the Main Conference Room of the Ministry of Education Youth Affairs and Sports. Prequalification deadline: Jan. 29, 2003.
