 SBA DISASTER OUTREACH CENTERS TO REMAIN OPEN IN CONNECTICUT
 HARTFORD, Conn., July 9 /PRNewswire/ -- SBA Regional Administrator Susan M. Collins announced today that the SBA disaster outreach centers will remain open for at least one additional week to accommodate victims of the heavy rains and flooding which occurred June 5-8.
 SBA disaster personnel will continue to assist affected residents and business owners through Saturday, July 18, in Meriden, North Haven and New Britain. The outreach centers will be open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
 "Residents and business owners in need of SBA disaster loan assistance are urged to visit the disaster outreach centers while SBA representatives remain on-site. No appointment is necessary. SBA loan officers are available to answer questions, issue loan applications and provide help in filling out the application forms," Collins said.
 The outreach centers are located at:
 Greater New Haven Technical College
 Conference Center
 88 Bassett Rd.
 North Haven
 Francis T. Maloney High School
 Cafeteria
 121 Gravel St.
 Meriden
 Central Connecticut State University
 Student Center
 Wells Street
 New Britain
 As of July 8, SBA has interviewed over 150 individuals interested in obtaining disaster loan assistance. A total of nine loan applications have been returned to SBA for processing.
 "Loans are available for up to $100,000 to repair or replace flood- damaged primary residences and up to $20,000 to repair or replace personal property. Loans of up to $500,000 are available to businesses, owners of rental property, and non-profit organizations which sustained damages due to the disaster," Collins added.
 For more information about the disaster loan program, call SBA toll-free at 1-800-659-2955. The deadline for filing SBA disaster loan applications for physical losses is Aug. 31, 1992.
