SAUDI ARABIA - Aug. 6 - Import Violators Blacklisted.

Chamber of Commerce Counselor Ahmad Ouda says the government has blacklisted about 200 foreign companies in the past 10 months for importing $150m worth of Israeli goods. He says the companies, mostly Jordanian, Cypriot and Egyptian, forged certificates of origin for Israeli goods in order to import them to the kingdom. Ouda says the companies will not be allowed to trade in the kingdom again. He says the illegally imported Israeli goods included vegetables, seeds, mobile phones and other electronic products.
