SATURDAY: Pick of the day.

IN GOOD COMPANY, Sky Movies 4, 6.00pm (2004) (15) An executive's life spirals into chaos as he suffers the indignity of being demoted at work, leaving him as second-incommand to a young upstart - but that's just the beginning of his woes. Offbeat comedy, starring Dennis Quaid, Topher Grace, Scarlett Johansson and Marg Helgenberger.

CORPSE BRIDE, Sky Movies 1, 6.30pm (2005) (PG) Tim Burton's stopmotion animated fantasy, in which shy bridegroom Victor finds himself inadvertently hitched to a ghostly bride, who takes him into the netherworld. Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter head up an all-star voice cast, including Emily Watson, Christopher Lee and Richard E Grant.

FLIGHTPLAN, Sky Movies 2, 8.00pm (2005) (12) Premiere. A widow boards a plane with her young daughter, and promptly falls asleep. When she wakes the girl has completely disappeared, and if that wasn't bad enough, the airline staff insist the distressed woman got on the flight alone. Jodie Foster is on top form in this claustrophobic thriller.

CONSTANTINE, Sky Movies 4, 8.00pm (2005) (15) A man cursed with the ability to see otherworldly spirits which stalk the Earth decides to end it all. However, his suicidal efforts leave him in an even worse position, and he's soon drawn into a battle to stop evil demons wreaking havoc upon humanity. Supernatural thriller, starring Keanu Reeves.

WITHOUT A PADDLE, Sky Movies 1, 8.00pm (2004) (12) Three friends embark on a canoeing trip in honour of a late, lamented pal - but their break proves anything but relaxing as a perilous river and deranged mountain men conspire to ensure the experience goes horribly and hilariously wrong. Comedy, starring Seth Green, Matthew Lillard and Dax Shepard.

THE FISHER KING, Sky Cinema 2, 9.00pm (1991) (15) A radio DJ is plunged into a deep depression after a listener embarks on a murderous rampage, apparently in response to one of his broadcasts. Terry Gilliam's stunning, deeply emotional offbeat drama, starring Robin Williams, Jeff Bridges, Amanda Plummer and Oscar-winner Mercedes Ruehl.

INTO THE BLUE, Sky Movies 1, 10.00pm (2005) (15) Bahamas residents Paul Walker and Jessica Alba find a stash of drugs hidden in the wreckage of a submerged plane while diving, and their visiting friends are more than happy to try and sell it. Thriller, featuring a tanned and scantily-clad cast that also includes Scott Caan and Ashley Scott.
