SATELLITE PICK OF THE DAY.

Flight Of The Conchords BBC Four, 10.30pm HAPLESS duo Bret and Jemaine's fortunes unravel this week after Bret buys a new tea cup, as the Emmy-nominated hit comedy continues.

With emergency band funds unavailable, Jemaine takes desperate measures in the hope of supplementing their income. Bret also shows his entrepreneurial side, but doesn't quite understand the concept of a profit-making business, and their only fan, Mel, tries to take advantage of their poverty.

Murray believes he has found the perfect business partner - someone he met on the internet.

Wanted Sky Movies Premiere, 10.00pm JAMES McAvoy truly hit the big time in this great comic book thriller from the pen of Scots writing hero Mark Millar.

McAvoy plays Wesley, a regular Joe Schmo, who has a dull life and no ambition, until Angelina Jolie roars into his life and prevents him being assassinated.

It turns out Wesley is the son of a famous international super hero assassin, and has inherited all his skills and powers of instinct. Jolie and boss Morgan Freeman recruit him to their league of killers, designated by fate to kill evil-doers who escape justice. One word review: Awesome.

Doomsday Sky Sci-Fi/Horror, 10.55pm SCOTLAND is such a cool country that we should be the setting for more movies, particularly scary movies, as we do them so well.

This is a great and gory treat, set in the future after a virus has turned the population of Scotland into mad cannibal-type zombies, meaning we have been walled up and quarantined like Hadrian only wished he could have.

Directed by Neil Marshall, who was behind the helm of Dog Soldiers and The Descent, the film follows a team who are sent north to find a cure.

Rhona Mitra and Malcolm McDowell star.

Smallville E4, 9.00pm LOIS wants a big story to prove she is a star reporter. When Chloe is mugged, Lois fights off one of the attackers and uses the opportunity to pretend a new superhero, Stiletto, is in town and giving her exclusives.

Clark is worried that Lois will hurt herself pretending to be a superhero, but when he is captured by thugs with Kryptonite, his only hope is Stiletto.

Shrek The Third Sky Movies Family, 6.15pm JUSTIN Timberlake is the latest addition to the band of fairy tale characters, as the Shrek world takes in the King Arthur legacy.

The movie starts with the King dying, and Shrek is the obvious if horrified heir, who just wants to retire to his swamp with Fiona. He tries to find another possible successor to the throne.

Enter Timberlake as Artie, the young King Arthur, and a cousin of Fiona, whom Donkey, Puss and Shrek have to convince to take the job.
