SAS Software Users To Gather in Florida.

CARY, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 9, 1995--More than 3,000 SAS software users from around the world are expected to gather in Orlando, Fla., April 2-5, for the twentieth annual SAS Users Group International (SUGI) conference.

The conference -- to be held at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel -- will feature SAS Institute's report to users on its development priorities and technology directions, invited and contributed papers (including customer case histories, strategic overviews and technical presentations), tutorials, presentations and product demonstrations by SAS Institute staff, hardware demonstrations by invited vendors, roundtable forums, and birds-of-a-feather (special interest) sessions.

This year's SUGI includes an "Executive Track" program designed for high-level management in organizations using SAS software. The program will feature a series of papers and demonstrations highlighting customer applications that assist organizations in making better business decisions and contribute to the achievement of their business goals.

Chairman for SUGI 20 is Neil Howard of MCI Communications, in Colorado Springs, Colo.

SUGI is a nonprofit organization of users of the SAS System, SYSTEM 2000 Data Management Software, the Institute's C compiler products and JMP software. The group meets to share information and learn more about SAS Institute's research and development plans.
