Former global chief customer officer for SAP will leverage deep knowledge of SAP markets, customer needs and products to advise iRise leadership

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. -- Leveraging market momentum around visualization applied to business critical SAP projects,iRise([R]), the global leader in enterprise visualization solutions, today announced that Ed Lange, former global chief customer officer for SAP, has joined the company as a strategic consultant and a member of its board of advisors. Mr. Lange will be leveraging a comprehensive understanding of SAP customer needs, market forces and product solutions to help define and drive the next generation of SAP-specific solutions from iRise. Mr. Lange will also be leveraging strong relationships with strategic SAP customers and global systems integrators to advise iRise leadership on building successful customer-centric programs related to the recent announcement that SAP is now reselling the iRise platform globally.

"iRise has changed the paradigm for how business software is defined and delivered," stated Lange. "Visualization is fundamentally transforming the communication between business and IT, especially for 'bet the business' SAP transformations around the world. iRise is now a best practice for how the world's best run companies accelerate time to value for their SAP solutions by fostering end-user involvement in how the solution needs to work. By involving the ultimate users of the solution in how it will work before the traditional user acceptance testing approach, their buy-in and use of the system increases dramatically. Business value expected from the solution soon follows."

In addition to his experience in managing strategic customer and partner relationships globally, Mr. Lange brings a wealth of sales and marketing leadership experience to iRise from his sixteen years at SAP and prior positions at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). In Mr. Lange's roles as global chief customer officer at SAP, he served as the executive responsible for some of SAP's largest strategic global customer deployments. "iRise speeds up time to value and the delivery of SAP implementations," continued Mr. Lange. "Visualization is now a proven strategy to lower delivery risk and improve business outcomes for large scale SAP implementations. It's incredibly important to successfully address the business process and usability requirements of the solution user, which are fundamental to system acceptance and value realization."

"The market is quickly learning that visualization from iRise is a powerful way to keep business critical projects of all kinds on track, including SAP implementations," said Emmet B. Keeffe III, CEO and co-founder of iRise. "Ed will bring considerable experience and a stellar reputation to iRise as he helps us build a solid record of success with SAP customers all over the world."

Since retiring from SAP last year, Mr. Lange assists companies in implementing frameworks for revenue growth, drawing upon a unique network of Global 500 customer relationships. Lange's expertise was honed during his sixteen years as a member of the executive management team at SAP AG, the global leader in enterprise application software. Progressing through a series of global sales, marketing and operations leadership positions at SAP, Lange was promoted to global chief customer officer and executive vice president, responsible for all major customer initiatives worldwide. In addition to his work at iRise, Lange also advises a number of key SAP partners who provide SAP implementation services and software solutions.

"Ed's knowledge of enterprise customer relationship management, especially long-term development and customer care, will be invaluable for us in strengthening our client base," continued Mr. Keeffe.

Mr. Lange currently serves as non-executive chairman at SmartOps, an inventory optimization solutions company. He also sits on the board of directors for Vendavo, Inc., a pricing management solutions company.
