SANYO to Release New Electrolyzed Water Air Purification Series.

Tokyo, Japan, Aug 28, 2006 - (JCN) - SANYO Electric today announced the launch of an electrolyzed water air purification series designed to remove airborne viruses and allergens with electrolyzed water in spaces of all size.

SANYO developed the 'virus washer' system to remove bacteria without the use of any chemicals. This system utilizes tap water only with SANYO's proprietary electrolyzed water technology. The line-up includes products with virus washer system ranges from home use to commercial use.

The new products will be sold in Japan from September 2006. SANYO hopes to market the lineup globally, particularly in countries concerned with air quality such as Indonesia, China and Vietnam.
