SAN JOSE SHARKS head coach Peter DeBoer is selling his home in Madison.

SAN JOSE SHARKS head coach Peter DeBoer is selling his home in Madison, New Jersey for $1.269 million.

According to Realtor, com, DeBoer bought the property when he was coaching the New Jersey Devils in 2011. He paid $1,025 million for the 3,023 s/f house.

The Colonialstyle home, built in 2009, sits on a quarter-acre lot. It has hardwood floors throughout, a family room with a gas fireplace and a front entrance with a covered porch.

The DeBoer family renovated the property after moving in.

"The DeBoers finished the third floor, which is beautiful, with built-ins and could be used as an office, additional family room, or fifth bedroom," Coldwell Banker's Kristin Winter told

"They also finished the basement, which has a full bath, built-ins, and lots of storage options." After he was fired in 2014, DeBoer's family continued to live in the home. He was hired by the Sharks in May 2015.

In a New York Times profile, DeBoer said that he stayed in the four-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom house whenever the Sharks played the New York Islanders and the New York Rangers.
