SAMSUNG INTRODUCES TWO PRINTERS FOR SMALL BUSINESS.
Our newest printers are well-suited to the home office or small business professional, and emphasize Samsung's commitment to time-sensitive users who print at a high frequency, said Andrew Sivori, Vice President, CE-IT Product Marketing, Consumer Business Division, Samsung Electronics America. The key features of both new models allow our valued customers to print effortlessly and effectively, all while receiving the high-quality results they've come to expect of the Samsung brand.
Mobile printing becomes intuitive due in part to NFC and cloud technologies. Consumers can wirelessly print, scan, and fax documents by simply tapping their NFC-enabled mobile device on the printer or by using the Samsung Mobile Print app, which also saves scanned documents directly to the user's phone. This allows for convenience and easy accessibility while on-the-go. The app, available free of charge in both the Google Play Store for Android and the App Store for iOS, allows users to wirelessly print directly from their mobile devices seamlessly. It automatically detects any compatible Samsung printer on the same Wi-Fi network, allowing the user to sync smoothly and print with just a few clicks. Users can also seamlessly print documents stored on the cloud using Samsung's Cloud Printing feature.
Both printers utilize Smart Color Management System (Smart CMS) technology which further improves the quality of mobile printing through an automatic image adjustment function, enhancing the sharpness of text and removing white gaps. The C480FW is also compatible with Samsung Cloud Print, among other cloud printing services ideal for users who are in a hurry to print important documents.
Additionally, the C480FW features a scan-to-email function, which was formerly available exclusively on higher priced Samsung printers.
The Samsung C430W and C480FW models boast print speeds of up to 19 pages per minutes (ppm) in mono and 4ppm in color, ensuring deadlines are met even when the most heavy duty printing job occurs.
Through the use of Samsung's Rendering Engine for Clean Page (ReCP) technology, smooth images and crisp text come through on each page, making every printout clear and professional.
By decreasing the use of toner and paper, Samsung's One- Touch Eco Button saves consumers money while also limiting the impact on the environment.
The Easy Eco Driver, granted an Outstanding Achievement in Innovation Award from Buyers Laboratory (BLI), reduces the printers' toner use by up to 20 percent. By removing images and text and converting them from bitmap to sketch, the Easy Eco Driver tool ensures that just the right amount of toner and paper is used for each job. This ultimately controls operating costs and allows users to save money while still receiving high-quality results at the same time with a toner yield of up to 1,500 pages.
