SAMSON ENERGY COMPANY ANNOUNCES 1993 FOURTH QUARTER CASH DISTRIBUTION

 TULSA, Okla., Nov. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Samson Energy Company Limited Partnership (AMEX: SAM) announced today its declaration of a cash distribution in the amount of $.25 per unit payable on Dec. 31, 1993 to unitholders of record on Nov. 30, 1993. A total of 4,518,357 units are outstanding.
 This distribution represents the company's 32nd consecutive quarterly distribution since its formation in 1986. Total cash distributed to unitholders over this period is $42,600,000, or $11.90 per unit.
 Samson Energy Company is a publicly traded master limited partnership whose principal business activities include the development and operation of oil and gas properties and the acquisition of additional producing properties. Depositary receipts evidencing units are traded on the American Stock Exchange under the symbol "SAM".
